Step-By-Step Instructions

	Choose patterns with few seams.
	Cut on sleeves such as dolman sleeves and raglan with a simple seam are far easier to sew than a set in sleeve.
	Looser fitting garments are more successful until you know the tricks to making the pattern fit your body.
	Elasticized waist on pants and skirt are easy and fit- forgiving.
	It’s perfectly OK to skip some of the detailing on your first project. Details such as pockets, zippers and tabs can always be mastered later.
