Pillows by the Dozen
Recently, my oldest daughter Kim, an interior decorator in San Francisco, showed up with a large bag of fabric and an even larger bag of pillows in assorted sizes with a request for pillow covers.
In her defense, I admit that I agreed to this project, since she had spent the last 4 weekends renovating a room with a Moroccan theme. The work involved wall painting and stencling, installing window coverings and lighting as well as tenting the ceiling, so by the time Kim got to the pillows she was burnt out!
Fortunately, other than tassels on the ends of the pillows, the job was a simple one, except that she requested that the fabric not be too tight, too unwelcoming, too baggy or too messy-looking.
