Sewing Tip 55
Some patterns are dogs: the pieces don’t fit together, the results don’t remotely resemble the pattern picture, and the garment isn’t flattering. Experienced sewers tell me that one out of two things they make are dogs.
If you routinely pretest new patterns, you won’t waste your beautiful fabric. If you didn’t pretest and ended up with a disaster, toss it and move on, mentally and physically.
