“You are going to love this pattern. I worked a long time to get the neckline just right.  You can wear this as a t-shirt, cut it a bit longer and wear it as a tunic or longer yet for a dress. If you have a bit of a tummy and you want to make the longer versions, make sure that you have 3 inches of ease over the tummy area to de-emphasize the tummy.” -Sandra Betzina

Vogue 1430

MISSES’ BLOUSE AND SKIRT: Loose-fitting, draped front blouse has front extending into collar, side slits, stitched hems, button shoulder closing, and back longer than front, wrong side shows. A: back pleat. Note: border prints are cut on crosswise grain. Close-fitting, lined, tapered skirt has elasticized waist.

“Since most of us have a lot of beautiful silks and rayons in our stash, this is the pattern to make it up in. The top can be worn belted, unbelted or open as a jacket. The jacket makes a perfect canvas for beautiful drapey fabric. Included as well is the perfect short tube skirt and lined!”-Sandra Betzina
