New Spring 2015 Vogue Patterns-V1442 & V1443
Sandra’s new Spring 2015 Today’s Fit line for Vogue Patterns has been released. V1442 and V1443 are beautiful, slimming, feminine and very versatile!
MISSES’ TUNIC AND DRESS: Pullover tunic or dress has shoulder strap and underarm stitching forming drape, mock bands, front and back cut-in-one, no right side seam, and stitched hem.
FABRICS: Jersey, Crepe, Linen, Stretch Wovens.
“While some of you are still snowed in, you probably think that making a summer dress is ridiculous but trust me, warm weather is coming and you will want to wear this dress. Yes it is sleeveless but it also looks terrific with a lightweight T-shirt under it. I love it in striped double knit but it also works in wovens. Construction is easy and it hides any mid or lower body issue. I have made 2 in silks. I underlined one silk dress which gives it more body, but the silk one which is not underlined is sexier.” -Sandra B.
MISSES’ BLOUSE: Very loose-fitting blouse has side slits stitched in place, sleeve opening variations, and narrow hem. A: collar, side back seams, stitched hem on sleeves, and front button (bound buttonhole) closing. B: pullover. Note: Designer’s instructions are included for a sleeveless top.
FABRICS: Drapey Silks or Rayons, Soft Cottons, Lightweight to Medium-Weight Linens.
“Not only have I made four blouses from Vogue 1443 view A but I also made the same view from a Japanese kimono. Such a terrific pattern, slimming and very feminine.”-Sandra B.
