Dear Sandra,

I just made your V1184 pattern. The shorts are absolutely beautiful, and I would love to make another pair. Here's my question: I had great difficulty with the waistband. I tried following your instructions to the tee, but I don't know where I went wrong.

The inside seams on my shorts are running all the way to the top of the inner waistband, and as such, the interface is showing, too. In other words, when you take a peek inside the shorts, you will see the white interfacing on the inner waistband seams right away! While the shorts look great when I wear them, I am not happy with the inside of the waistband.

I would like to avoid this problem on my next pair. Can you give me any tips? I don't know where I went wrong. Thanks.
