What to do with three yards of stretch knit:
Here's a 1930 video of Martha Graham dancing "Lamentation" enclosed in a tube of stretch knit….

(Atthe moment there doesn't seem to be a hyperlink, but if you put "Martha Graham, Lamentation" into the youtube search, you will find a selection of the videos, one of which also includes an interview explaining what the dance is about(with Spanish subtitles)…just in case you think the Lamentation is about my not winning the 3 yards of stretch knit

Well the contest is over and I congratulate Penny Hollar for her lovely leather jacket and her boatload of admirers. I am honored to have taken silver in this event. It was lots of fun looking over the other garments and seeing the new ones as they have come it. I plan to post my works more often now to keep in touch with the Garment Gallery. Thanks to Sandra and Karla for putting even more fun into sewing.

Hey there friends…I need your help. I am SO FAR BEHIND..I want to win 3 yards of stretch knit from Sandra's stash, but I only have 4 comments. Will you be a pal and put a comment under my tangerine dance dress? I'll tell you anything you want to know about how I made it including making the bustier pattern from newspaper and how I embellished it(the dress, not the pattern) with beads.Plus if you haven't seen them yet, there are many wonderful fashions posted by our fellow fashionistas.
