Why not save that ham for darks only, and invest in a second one to keep especially for whites and light fabrics? ShereeSews

I have a couple of pressing hams and rolls, and while pressing my last project- dark-grey trousers, the fabric color ran and now the cotton side of my hams is purple. What is the best way to wash clean these items? I am concerned for my next project- white dress.[/quote]

I would try to clean it with dry cleaning solution followed up by a detergent scrub and rince with a cloth. ~Sandra Betzina

Could you recover it? Sandra and Ron are in a video and Sandra recovered her ham. I think it was the pressing video. Could you just cover over it?
