LadyPurl thanks for the suggestion, I didn't notice it. I recently bought Sandra's book more Fabric Savy, and am excited about all the references on fabric, thread and needles. I did try steam a seam on a pair of Jalie shorts on the leg hem, I think the steam might of stretched the hem a little. I'll keep trying, and thanks again for the suggestion.

I would love to know how to raise a neckline and how to sew with knits, particularly the neckline, how not to make it stretch 2 sizes when adding the neckband and how not to get the hem to stretch. Whether its the use of the wrong fabric, wrong technique or just the clueless sewer.
